Nero version or plugin?

Got some dual layer DVD's at the weekend. When I tried burning my first disc Nero wouldn't recognise the image (5.5Gb). I loaded the image into UltraIso and burnt from there (it uses Nero) with no problems. Just wondering if I need to do something to better improve Nero's working with Dual Layer media? Maybe a newer version or plugin needed? Currently using V6.1.3.6.

I thought Nero only burnt video ts files, didn't think it handled image files directly.

I used to use decrypter to burn image files, but of course I wouldn't use it now that it has been taken off the market :jawdroppe

We haven't saved up enough pennies to buy a dual layer disc yet though :(

I use nero to burn ISO, Cue/Bin and IMG files :| havent needed another replacement for it yet.
