Is it just the barebones ? or HD / Mem etc ?

On its own I would say around £150 to £170

and if I had the spare cash I would have had it as well.

It was going to be just the barebones but I am now thinking of selling with the 3500+ processor and 1gb of Corsair TwinX-XL (2-2-2-5) ram and possibly a raptor hard drive (36gb) but no graphics. I am tempted just to go Conroe at the low end (6300 or 6400).

Bump

Right, if I can get the right price then I am definitely going to sell the following:

SN25P
AMD 3500+
1gb Corsair TwinX-XL (2-2-2-5)

Anyone have any ideas of what I could get for it?

Do these shuttles allow you to use it as a DVD / hifi without booting into the windows system, or is that a media centre type thing?

Unfortunately not.

Media Center are just winxp with a little extra application - so it's still got to boot windows. To do what you want PDGF you could use a DVD player that support DIVx Xvid and MP3 - but you'd have to put everything on CD or DVD.

I've seen some systems that allow this. Its a kind of instant on feature that bypasses the system. Seems like a neat feature. I want a media pc to connect up to a big screen that allows me to use it as a dvd / hifi as well. I'd rather everything in one small box rather than have seperate units
