Ive justed got back in to playing counter strike and remembered my day of defeat days from uni. Im trying to find a copy of Day of defeat Source but no where seems to sell it. I found it on amazon but it says released on February 10, 2006. Surely that cant be right, HL2 was released nearly a year ago???

I bought mine through steam online. It was a reasonable price, $20.

Yup, it's a steam only release...

thanks. its $19.95 through steam. i just thought there would be a hard copy to purchase like the original.

i remember those days of dod, me in the bell tower with a mg42 and beerbaron with his rifle... think between us we cut down an entire american division :)

It's pretty good but I'm a die hard enemy territory fan, so i don't play DoD S much.

BTW, if any of you run into any splash damage staff then please tell them to hurry with their next release, ET:Quake Wars. It's gonna be the best game ever conceived.
