I have upgraded the board again to the latest version and while I was at it I upgraded to the latest version of the style template...

it buggered the posts unless I changed the view method to horizontal....

do people prefer this layout or shall I revert to the old way of doing it?

it was a 404 for a bit and I was worried lol

i spent ages searching the userCP looking fir a way to fix the threads. never liked this new view.

Xaprief has both and you can choose which you like in options i believe....

Even vb org uses the legacy view, not the horizontal one... that must be telling people something!

This way just read better you don't get lots of gumff in the way of each reply! And it's nice to just scroll down the size and you can more or less tell where you are from peoples avatars and things.

also you may notice a little speed increase... what is happening now is that the css stylesheets for the board are being cahed on your local machine to save them downloading with every page load...
