messenger woes

did you have to do anything special to get it to work , my main pc connected to the base station via ethernet is no problem ill take some screenies to make it more clear

AFAIK it's not too keen on non UPnP NAT firewalls, but other than that it's quite non-fussy. If you're just using XP ICS it shouldn't be a problem. Just a thought - you're not trying to run it logged in on both the main PC and lappy at the same time?
Can't think of anything else that might be a prob tbh

thanks flibblle for the pointers , i managed to get connected with another one of the downstairs after managing to connect it did an update so im going to try again on the upstairs one oh i had to sign up for a new passport too ahhh that may be why if it ws running on the main pc looks like you did crack it after all flbble :)
