Am currently looking at planning a trip to France but I reckon all would be easier with a roof rack. Not planning to go any more travels til I get proper (bigger) car in a few years time.
So... any idea if it's possible to hire roof racks?
Cheers!

Dunno you could probably buy one cheaper than hiring I'd of thought, get a cheap one and then flogg it on ebay. At least that way you'll get something back for your money.

From a quick google search it looks like its cheaper to buy. Or you could try from a breakers yard or local paper/Friday ads.

I promised the kids I would not go near there till September - but I'm not looking forward to it :(
Did think my luck was in when I saw an ad in the local Post Office for someone offering to sell your stuff on e*** for 15% but as they're not listed as a trading assistant I think twas prolly a bit iffy
Yeah I know I'm totally OFF TOPIC so get a mod to sort me out :firedevil

Cheers for the suggestions. All has been canceled after I put in the right dates for travelling over.
Crossing via ferry = shockingly expensive.
So will just stay in Glasgow and get pissed :D
